Nagarjuna Gowda was born in a village in Karnataka. His family's financial condition was weak, yet he studied hard. After Intermediate, he cleared the entrance exam of MBBS. After that he got MBBS degree. After MBBS, he joined a job in a hospital. During that time he made up his mind to prepare for UPSC. But due to weak financial condition, he decided to prepare with the job.
