Present Continuous Tense का उपयोग उन कार्यों को दिखाने के लिए किया जाता है जो अभी हो रहे हैं, या थोड़े समय के लिए चल रहे हैं। कभी-कभी इसका उपयोग निकट भविष्य की योजनाओं को बताने के लिए भी किया जाता है।

Let’s understand how and where we use it:

In English:

Actions happening at the moment of speaking

Ongoing temporary actions

Pre-decided or planned actions in near future

In Hindi (हिंदी में):

जो क्रिया अभी इस समय हो रही है

जो कार्य कुछ समय तक जारी रहता है

जो भविष्य में होने वाला है, लेकिन अभी से तय है

🧱 Sentence Structure/Formulas for Present Continuous Tense 


Before we see examples, understand these simple sentence rules:

Present Continuous Tense Positive Sentence Formula:

Subject + is/am/are + Verb + ing + Object
(जैसे – I am eating food.)

Present Continuous Tense Negative Sentence Formula:

Subject + is/am/are + not + Verb + ing + Object
(जैसे – I am not eating food.)

Present Continuous Tense Interrogative Sentence Formula (Yes/No):

Is/Am/Are + Subject + Verb + ing + Object?
(जैसे – Are you eating food?)


Present Continuous Tense WH-Question Sentence:

WH-word + is/am/are + Subject + Verb + ing?
(जैसे – What are you doing?)
