In her preparation strategy, she planned and worked hard, and other aspirants will find a lot to learn from her. Ananya, who is always hard-working and diligent, worked on a strategy to get through one of the toughest exams India has to offer - the UPSC. Ananya had always dreamed of becoming an IAS officer. She began preparing for the exam in the last year of her graduation and achieved an AIR 51 in the first attempt.

Ananya completed her schooling from St. Mary's Convent School, Prayagraj. She scored good marks in both class 10th and 12th boards. Furthermore, she was a district topper from CISCE board and secured 96 per cent marks in class 10th and 98.25 per cent in class 12th. After that, she came to Delhi for her graduation. She completed her graduation in Economics Honors from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi.

Ananya prepared for the exam by making a time-table. She initially prepared for Pre and Mains together. Ananya says that, the time before pre and mains is very difficult. During this one should work really hard.

Ananya's father is a former District Judge and her mother Anjali Singh is a senior lecturer at IERT. Her elder brother Aishwarya Pratap Singh is posted as Chief Metropolitan Magistrate in Kanpur, with his wife Jyotsna, who is also a magistrate at Kanpur.

Ananya cleared UPSC in her first attempt. Moreover, she secured 51 ranks all over India in 2019. Her current posting is in West Bengal as an IAS officer.

According to Ananya, previous year's papers help a lot. She advises aspirants to solve more and more papers from past years because there are chances the question gets repeated, in some subjects sometime. So go through the previous year papers. Also, revise thoroughly. While applying the intro, body, conclusion formula in your answers, you should always include the conclusion along with the solution.
