We all know that becoming an IAS or IPS officer is too difficult for some people. One has to struggle day and night to crack UPSC or Civil Services exam, but what if we tell you about someone who doesn't even know what or who an IAS officer is, but still she wants to be. The story of IAS officer Aparajita Sharma will surprise you. 

Aparajita Sharma, a resident of Banaras, did not even know who was an IAS officer. She had no idea about clearing this exam but still her dream was to become an IAS officer since childhood. Actually, the reason behind her dream was her maternal grandfather. Her maternal grandfather always told him that one day my granddaughter would become an officer. Aparajita, as a child, did not know what it was like to be an officer, but when she grew up, Aparajita took it seriously and chose it as a career.


According to Aparajita, this post gives not only prestige but also satisfaction.

Aparajita had cleared the exam in the year 2017 with 40th All India Rank. With this her childhood dream came true.

Aparajita Sharma schooling 
Aparajita did her schooling from Banaras, after which she joined Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi for graduate level studies. His father is retired as an IRS officer and his mother is a professor.

After graduation, Aparajita got a job in a big company. She was the only girl in her department. In other departments also there was no girl other than her. A few incidents in her company inspired Aparajita and then she decided to try and work hard for the Civil Services Examination at the grassroots level.

Aparajita Sharma UPSC strategy 
Aparajita says that you have to make different strategies to prepare for all the three stages of the exam. 

First of all read the syllabus carefully and collect books according to your interest. Along with this, she also says that ther must not be many sources. She recommends keeping your books limited but updating them frequently is more important. Make your strategy according to your strength and weakness because everyone is different. Set daily goals and meet them.
