But an ASI has applied for leave from his own SP to file a case against him in the High Court. The interesting thing is that not only the SP from his district, he is preparing to file a case in the High Court against a total of 15 senior police officers including 10 IPS officers, but the officers are not giving him leave.
The name of this ASI is Shubhankar Kumar. Shubhankar is posted as ASI in RIT police station of Seraikela-Kharsawan district. Shubhankar, who is ready to launch a campaign against IPS officers for his rights, believes that the entire police system is plagued by the arbitrariness of IPS officers. The ASI said that he wants to file a case in the High Court, but is not getting leave. His salary has also been withheld. Now he has no other option except legal help. Shubhankar says that the IPS lobby punishes him again and again unnecessarily.
Shubhankar Kumar told that when he appealed against the SP to stop his casual leave and stop the salary held, the DIG asked him to forward the application to the SP itself. He has been the President of Pakur District Police Men's Association from the year 2011 to 2017. Relocated to Seraikela-Kharsawan district on 27 February 2017. In the year 2018, he got promotion as ASI. Shubhankar believes that it is his right to go on casual leave, but IPS officers give 10 days leave on demand of 30 days leave.
